Terms of service
These terms govern your use of the DocuBud app and website. By using DocuBud you agree to them.
1. The service
DocuBud provides tools to scan, edit, convert, sign, compress and read documents on your device, plus an account with daily credits and an optional Pro subscription.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country).
3. Your content
Your documents belong to you and stay on your device. You are responsible for having the right to scan, edit, sign or convert the files you use. Do not use DocuBud to forge documents, impersonate others, infringe rights or break the law. Editing a PDF or adding a signature does not make a document legally valid; check what your recipient requires.
4. Credits and plans
Free accounts receive a daily credit allowance that refills each day. Each action uses credits; amounts can change. Pro accounts receive a larger allowance and extra features. We may change limits, prices and features with notice in the app.
5. Subscriptions
Pro is billed through Google Play and renews until cancelled. See Subscriptions & refunds for cancellation and refund details.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, bypass credit limits, or access other users’ data.
7. Intellectual property
The DocuBud app, brand and design belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app. Open-source components are used under their own licences.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep DocuBud reliable but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update or discontinue features.
9. Disclaimer and liability
DocuBud is provided “as is”. Processing on your device can produce imperfect results (for example in text recognition); review important documents before you rely on them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You can stop using DocuBud and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights you have under your local law.
